The written word, or in this case a book, is something that can’t be replaced. It is the most sacred documentation of a place and time, telling the stories of those who have been there. When a book is written, it stays in the world until the author dies. In some cases, it will be passed on to other people who share the same passion for reading.

In other cases, it will simply disappear from existence. If you’re going to read a book, make sure you get a copy that has not been altered at all.
